We had a fantastic time at Pernari Apartments. The hosts were delightful, welcoming us with complimentary local wine and honey. The two room apartment was comfortable and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, AC, and a big balcony with a breathtaking sea view. The Wi-fi was good and having our own covered parking was a plus. The village had a great restaurant and mini-markets, and it was a good starting point for exploring the beautiful island of Kefalonia. Perfect place!

The hotel had a beautiful and elegant decoration, with charming furniture and artwork throughout the common areas. It was a pleasure to walk around and enjoy the ambiance. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with ramps and handrails in all the necessary places, making it easy to navigate and ensuring my safety.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is that the children working there could speak a bit more English. Sometimes it was difficult to communicate and understand each other, but they were still very helpful and did their best to assist me.

Plus, it's conveniently close to the port from Zakinthous to Kefalonia.

One downside is the need for careful driving and navigation due to the narrow streets with a lot of curves.
